
Panasonic has introduced an ultra-compact camera that is packed into a metal body. This Panasonic Lumix DMC FS7 10MP Digital Camera comes with a dimension of 97 x 54.4 x 21.7 mm and a weight of 117 grams. It comes with a picture resolution of 10 mega-pixels. A higher image resolution is expected to deliver superior quality images and the Lumix FS7 stands up to this expectation. The camera includes a 50MB internal memory that can be increased by using SD, SDHC and MMC memory cards. Images can be previewed on the camera’s 2.7-inch LCD screen that comes with a display resolution of 230000 pixels. Unlimited consecutive shooting can be done at the rate of 1.7 frames per second.
LEICA DC VARIO-ELMARIT lens is used in the Panasonic Lumix DMC FS7 Digital Camera. This Panasonic lens system offers an optical zoom of 4x, this indicates that the images can be enlarged to 4 times its original size without it suffering any distortion. Focal length ranges between 5.5-22.0mm that is equal to 33-132mm in 35mm equivalent camera. The digital zoom offered is also 4x, but while using digital zoom there is bound to be distortion.
