Panasonic DMC-LZ3

It's been a while since I operated a Panasonic camera. Of course, that wouldn't stop them from releasing the new Panasonic DMC-LZ3 5 megapixel digital camera. The camera implements Panasonic's MEGA Optical Image Stabilization, which moves the lens ever-so-slightly to compensate for minute hand movements, providing for non-blurry images.

The DMC-LZ3 carries a 2.0" preview LCD and 6x optical zoom. It comes with Panasonic's Oxyride AA batteries - guaranteed to delivery longer life than standard alkaline batteries. Coupled with the Venus Engine Plus (a processor that manages image capture and energy use for the camera), you can get up to 250 images with the LZ3.

It presents the user with as many as 14 different scene modes, making it appealing to amateurs. On board, you find 14MB of memory, and the camera takes in SD memory cards.
